Jamie Hossa is an Associate Attorney at Wang, Leonard & Condon. Jamie earned her Juris Doctorate degree and her Master of Laws degree, with a specialization in Trial Advocacy, from Loyola University Chicago School of Law. She received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) where she majored in Political Science and graduated magna cum laude and with college honors. While at UIC, Jamie was also inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa and Pi Sigma Alpha national honor societies.

Jamie is committed to the mission of achieving equal access to justice for all. The conditions and needs of the immigrant communities are particularly dear to her. After joining the Illinois Bar, Jamie focused her practice in the areas of family law and immigration law. She has competently and compassionately represented clients in all personal and financial phases of family conflict, including divorces, parentage matters, contested custody matters, and cases involving complex financial matters, family businesses, and substantial assets. In the arena of immigration law, Jamie began her practice in the refugee communities, assisting numerous clients with their Asylum and Withholding of Removal cases, as well as in removal proceedings and before the Board of Immigration Appeals. She has also successfully litigated an international child abduction case, securing the return of a child to his home country pursuant to the Hague Convention on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction.

Jamie has since expanded her expertise to all areas of family-based and employment-based immigration law as well, including particular focus on L-1, H-1, EB-1, National Interest Waiver, EB-5, and PERM labor certification cases. Jamie’s experiences have honed her skills as a determined and passionate advocate for immigrant families and workers.

Jamie is licensed to practice law in the state of Illinois and is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association. Jamie oversees family-based and employment-based petitions at WLC and is committed to providing high-quality representation and individual attention to all her clients.
