With over twenty years of trial experience in both public service and private practice, Greg is one of the lead trial attorneys for Wang, Leonard & Condon. Prior to the formation of Wang, Leonard & Condon, Greg was a trial attorney at a leading Chicago litigation firm for over a decade. Before entering private practice, Greg’s public service included more than six years as a trial attorney for the United States Department of Justice and the Office of the Illinois Attorney General.

Greg’s practice primarily involves complex litigation involving catastrophic injuries, wrongful death and “whistleblower” or qui tam litigation. The qui tam provisions of the False Claims Act and analogous state statutes allow private citizens or “whistleblowers” with knowledge of fraud by a government contractor to sue or prosecute a case in the name of the government and share in the recovery of any successful litigation. See our FALSE CLAIMS ACT/ Qui Tam Section. Greg is an active member of the Washington, D.C. based organization - Taxpayers Against Fraud (“TAFNET”). TAFNET is a public interest organization dedicated to combating fraud by pursuing qui tam litigation against the contractors and companies that have defrauded the government. Greg is also an active member of the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, a statewide organization comprised of trial lawyers dedicated to representing individuals whose lives have been devastated by the negligence and disregard of others. In addition to being licensed by the State of Illinois, Greg is also a certified member of the Trial Bar of the Northern District of Illinois Federal Court. Greg is also admitted to the Southern and Central Districts of Illinois Federal Courts and the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.

Entering his third decade of practice, Greg has excelled as a trial attorney and has garnered a reputation as a passionate and versatile courtroom advocate. He has represented a virtual cross-section of society from laborers to judges, from society’s impoverished to its most well-heeled. Regardless of the background of his clients, Greg always brings compassion, energy and his unique Irish tenacity and wit to each case he accepts. He has won millions in personal injury verdicts and settlements for his clients. Greg was raised on Chicago’s West Side guided by the principle of fairness for everyone and has never shied from a fight advocating for those whose lives have been devastated by the recklessness, insolence or greed of others. Greg always enjoyed contact sports during his school years and regards the practice of law as a contact sport—it is the contact with his many diverse clients and the competition with opposing counsel—that Greg treasures most about the practice of law.

Prior to receiving his Juris Doctorate from the Columbus School of Law at the Catholic University of America, Greg graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana. He and his wife Michelle, a Native American and prosecutor for the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office, reside in the LaGrange area with their two children.
