Brian A. Seyfried is an Associate Attorney at Wang, Leonard & Condon. Brian received his Juris Doctorate degree from Chicago-Kent College of Law with a Certificate in International and Comparative Law. He received his Bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison where he double majored in both Chinese Language and Literature and Spanish Language and Literature.

Brian carries with him a wealth of diverse public and private U.S. immigration law related experience. At the outset of Brian's career, he worked in the employ of a Chicago-based immigration law firm for a number of years where he mastered both employment-based and family-based U.S. immigration law. Brian also had the unique experience of working for a U.S. immigration law firm based in Beijing, China where he further enhanced his expertise in immigration law, focusing on U.S. citizenship and naturalization procedure.

Additionally, Brian has gained valuable public immigration law related exprience, completing internships for both the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and the U.S. Department of Justice. During the fall of 2009, Brian worked as an intern for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, specifically the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), where he gained first-hand behind the scenes knowledge of family-based immigration procedure. In the spring of 2010, Brian was selected to serve as a judicial extern with the U.S. Department of Justice, Executive Office for Immigration Review (Immigration Court) in Chicago where he developed a firm understanding of immigration trial procedure, removal proceedings, and asylum procedure.

Brian is licensed to practice law in the state of Illinois and is admitted to the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. He is a member of the Chicago Bar Association and the American Immigration Lawyers Association. Brian is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and Spanish.

Brian and his wife Sheila, who is Filipino-American and also presently working in the legal field, reside in Chicago, Illinois.
